OUR SCHOOL
The mission of Tri-City Christian Academy
is to help our students learn to THINK carefully,
COMMIT their lives to Jesus
and to ACT unselfishly in service to others.

Principal's Message
Our goal at Tri-City Christian Academy is to build a strong educational program that prepares our students for both college and career and even more importantly provides our students the opportunity to walk ever closer with their Friend and Savior Jesus Christ.
At TCA we strive to provide our students with the best educational experience in the Triad area, challenging them to think critically and independently and preparing them for the future. Through data-driven instruction, research-based instructional strategies, and continuous professional development for our teachers, we provide our students with opportunities to excel academically, physically, and spiritually.
Engaging parents, teachers, and students, in the process of education, is key to the success of any student and I look forward to building relationships with all TCA families, believing that together we can have a significant impact on our children's lives, both in this world and for eternity.

History of TCA
In July of 1957, the founders of Tri-City Christian Academy started construction on the first TCA campus building. This was a personal commitment on their part. Families worked shoulder to shoulder and in one month the building rose from the foundation and the school started.
Why were so many individuals dedicated to this school? The answer is simple. They wanted a Seventh-day Adventist school that would be able to serve the Triad area. They wanted a school where the Bible was a regular textbook, where values were taught and modeled, and where prayer was a way of life.
We praise God for those individuals who started this school in sacrifice. We praise God for those individuals who continue to support TCA with their money and their time. As a result, the new facility was completed in 2015 and TCA experienced enormous growth. Today, TCA is a Prek-12 Academy with almost 200 students.

FACULTY & STAFF
TCA's teachers are not just experienced and highly effective, they are also loving,
God-seeking, Christ-pointing, joyful living, prayerful, and full of grace. They exemplify
healthy relationships and community to our families. Our faculty also embodies
academic excellence and life-long learning.

All teachers are degreed educators and many have master's degrees. But that's only
half the team that makes TCA so special. The office and support staff work out of the
joy in their hearts and numerous volunteers donate countless hours out of
appreciation for all God is doing through TCA.
