OUR TALENTED STAFF
At Tri-City Christian Academy, our talented instructors are certified in the areas they teach, and many of them hold master’s degrees. We encourage our instructors to use multiple sources for lesson planning that meet the needs of diverse learners. We consistently provide professional development for our teachers, bringing the most recent, effective teaching practices to our campus.
TCA cultivates a genuine community united in love - a community in which faith and learning are interwoven, in which learning complements the Christian home and church, and in which time and talent are regarded as gifts from God to be used in His service.
Mission trips have always been a part of TCA's educational and outreach program. It is our desire to help students learn lessons in the field of service that they could not learn in a textbook or from a teacher. It is vital to their growth that they experience, first hand, what it means to serve and to sacrifice for those who are in need. In the last couple of years we have partnered with other schools to participate in disaster relief, traveled to other countries to help build churches and schools, and went to Nicaragua to hold evangelistic meetings through Share Him.
Our SmartLab is a fully integrated learning environment where everything—from the furniture to technology, to learning kits—works together to support students during their hands-on, minds-on learning journey. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, 65% of today’s school children will hold jobs that do not yet exist. To effectively prepare for these unknowns, learners must have a balanced understanding of content and essential skills. With SmartLab Learning, students practice the 4Cs: they become collaborators, ask compelling questions, communicate their thoughts clearly, and creatively solve problems all while reinforcing core math and science concepts.
At TCA, we believe music is a significant part of the education process. Students learn many valuable skills as they acquire new ways to express their praise to God. Our students have the opportunity to participate in a choir, bells choir, strings ensemble, and beginner band.
The Tri-City Christian Academy Middle School Team, called the Robo Revelators are the Carolina Adventist Robotics League Champions of 2022. Click on the link below to apply for the high school Robotics Team.
We strongly encourage activities that benefit the local community. From disaster relief training to helping in a soup kitchen to performances at local churches, our students experience the joy of helping others through a variety of local community service opportunities.
TCA inspires students to be Spirit-led Christians, disciplined learners, leaders of integrity, well-rounded individuals, and accomplished citizens. We anchor this education in a Bible-based, Christian environment and a faith-based community.
